We know you all love the taste of Indian food; now it’s your turn to get spicy in the kitchen with this Vegan Indian Cooking Class. Learn in a hands-on way how to make traditional Indian food recipes, followed by sharing the meal together.
Aloo partas (potato rolls)
Jeer rice (cumin rice)
Creamy vegetable subji (curry)
Palak tofu (saag with tofu)
South Indian carrot salad
Fruit and nut halavah pudding
Learn about the essential ingredients in Indian cooking:
Black mustard seeds, cumin, asafoetida(garlic replacement), coriander, basmati rice, curry leaves, chili and many more!
Techniques demonstrated
– Make a perfect pastry dough
– Chaunce / cook a spice mix for curry (known as subji in Hindi)
– Making saag(leafy green tofu dish)
Participants will be involved in:
– Making and rolling aloo partas (spiced potato pastries)
– Making and decorating their own halava (pudding)

We have a no refund policy for all our cooking classes cancelled within 48 hours of the event. Outside of that time, it depends if we can replace your spot. Thanks for your understanding.
Please bring containers with you as there are maybe leftovers and that you can take home with you.
When you book, there is no confirmation email but rest assured your spot is booked! Please try to arrive 15mins before class; there is plenty of parking around Bhakti Lounge which is paid for until 8 pm Friday’s.
