That’s right! We know you all love the taste of Indian food, now it’s your turn to get spicy in the kitchen with this Vegan Indian Cooking Class. Learn in a hands-on way how to make traditional Indian food recipes, followed by a sharing the meal together.
Aloo parathas (potato flatbread)
Jeer rice (cumin rice)
Zucchini koftas with ‘sour cream’ sauce
Dry vegetable subji (curry)
Palak Tofu (saag with tofu)
Split yellow daal (soup)
Dessert: Mango lassi mousse
Learn about the essential ingredients in Indian cooking:
Garma masala, cumin, asafoetida(garlic replacement), coriander, Split mung daal, basmati rice, chaat masala.
– Make a perfect roti dough
– How to make vegan sour cream
– Chaunce / cook a spice mix for subji/curry
– Making saag( sak)
Participants will be involved in
– Making, rolling, cooking parathas
– rolling out koftas
– Making garam masala
– Assembling and decorating Mango lassi mousse with roasted nuts and flowers.
Class starts at 5:30 pm
