What’s on the menu?

Burgers with a ‘mince’ patty

KFC ‘chicken’ wings with sauce

Garden salad

Meringue lemon tart

You will leave inspired by how delicious, fun, and exciting plant-based cooking can be!

Techniques that will be demonstrated:

-Substitutes for meat

-Making vegan ‘chykn’

-Different ways to make Meringue

-How to season and spice your dish


Participants will be involved in:

-Making vegan ‘mince’

-Assembling ‘chykn’ wings

-Making seitan

-Decorating lemon tarts


Other topics that will be explained:

-Meat-based alternatives

-Why make at home instead of buy on the market

-How to make facon

-Tofu, Jackfruit, and Banana blossom what are they & how do I use them?

-Understanding substituting

-Connecting our foods back to the roots and appreciating their origin

The class starts at 5:30 pm, please come 15 minutes early so we can start on time. Paid parking is available surrounding Bhakti Lounge, on Walter street or Vivian Street. Or Wilson parking close by.

Don’t worry you get to try everything we make together. Please BYO containers in case of leftovers!

We have a no refund policy for all our cooking classes cancelled within 48 hours of the event. Outside of that time, it depends if we can replace your spot. Thanks for your understanding.
